U-Bolt Clamp

The assembly typically consists of: A U-shaped bolt with threads on both ends. A flat saddle plate or support plate (the blue component in the image) that distributes the clamping force evenly across the surface of the pipe. Nuts (and sometimes washers) that are tightened onto the threaded ends to provide the necessary clamping force.
