I have 10 years experience in a sheet metal and machine shop engineering environment. In those 10 years, I have honed my skills in Solidworks and cad creation from both a technical and manufacturing production perspective. Creating 3D models, drafting blue prints and deriving functional flat patterns for use in production are daily tasks. I also regularly consult customers with concerns or recommendations which would improve their design cost-wise during manufacturing. I pride myself on my efficiency, creativity and attention to detail. A project example which I view as an accomplishment: I redesigned a long time job to meet evolving customer quality expectations while reducing engineering and planning costs. Using Solidworks, I created 3d models for the complex job's assemblies using dozens of configurations which were easily editable for both revision changes and use in similar jobs.
