Hi, I have been in engineering for 40 years, 15 years in the UK-MOD - aerospace industry and 25 years in oil & gas industry. I served a 5 year apprenticeship in the 70’s with Ferranti-UK working on various radar systems packaging mechanical and electronic components. I then move into the oil industry assisting in the design of subsea tools and ROV’s. I then moved into pipelaying equipment and associated vessels. I classify myself as a Design Draughtsman and have worked in the following areas: mechanical, electronics, hydraulics & structural. I started on a manual drawing board and progressed to CAD back in the 80's, I now use Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD for 3D models and 2D drawings. I have worked as a staff employee and contractor, and now have my own company with licensed software and hardware.

Hi, I am a freelance 3D Visualiser and qualified Architectural Technician based in Leeds (UK) skilled in 3DS Max/V-ray & AutoCAD. I work in close liaison with architects, developers, marketing agencies and design consultants to produce architectural CGI which is used primarily to communicate design concepts to clients. Working on projects throughout the UK, I provide still imagery, VR and animations to facilitate the marketing and planning requirements of projects, as well as being used as a means of securing project funding and sponsorship. I have over 25 years experience working in a design environment, working with AutoCAD since 1989 & in the mid 1990's I worked as a beta tester for Autodesk and in 1998 had 3D work published in CADdesk magazine. I get most of my work through recommendations, as I put a high value on the quality of work and the ability to hit agreed deadlines. Fees are generally agreed either as a 'fixed fee per project', on a 'daily rate' or 'monthly retainer' for longer term projects.

Two years ago I co-foundered a technical design agency offering creative and technical support. We've worked with some big names such as Samsung, Lotus, Dyson, Courvoisier, Pelican, and Softbox to help develop point of sale stands, and product ranges.
