Description:
I am looking to have a CAD model produced to match the attached PGN file. Please understand that the PNG file is the primary reference. The attached STL file is on the right track, but needs some tweaking. This should be a straight forward project, as the 3D model is symmetric, and may be duplicated to cover the opposite side. The compartment at the bottom should have a bit of depth, as it is where the passengers would reside.
The six holes along the bottom fin, the three port holes in the hull and the four holes in the lower basket should all be present.

The goal is to 3D print this, with a height of around 20 cm.
Wants:
The goal is to 3D print this. Pretend it was your project and think how closely you would want the 2D image to match the CAD.
Don't Wants:
The 2D image is all there is to go on, so obviously the rest has to be filled in. I request the CAD is as close to the 2D PNG within the bounds of reason.
Software:
  1. SolidWorks

Could you tell what 3D printing method you will be using tune the design towards that, will it be an FDM printer?

Hi, you have specified the software to be used as solidworks, is that a hard limit or do you only need the 3D printable STL file regardless of the software used? Also I see that the ribs in the CAD PNG are not as straight as the 2D PNG, is this a stylistic choice or should the 2D PNG be used as the main reference?

The dirigible_268564611bbe52_upscale.PNG file is the only reference photo that exists. It was a 2D image painted on wood that was made to look 3D. I submitted a photo titled 3D_textured.PNG that mostly shows how a 3D representation should look. It is a steampunk inspired airship.

Is it possible to show me photos of the standard drawing views, i.e. front, side, and top, of this design so that I can examine it more closely until I realize that the model is a submarine?

Which stl model do you need from the portfolio?

There is no working file. There is a 2D reference image intended to be used to create the STL

3D CAD Design Of A Dagger
I need a 3D CAD Drawing of a Dagger in a high-res STEP Format. It will be used for 3D Printing and also a graphite mold will be produced on a CNC Milling Machine. The mold will be used for casting silver. Attachment 1: Please follow this sample in regard to detail on the handle and the curves on the blade. Keep the length of the blade on the short side. This is a dagger......not a sword..
CAD Creation For Cylindrical Planter
We're in the process of producing a size range of cylindrical indoor/outdoor planters and need a high-res STEP file to provide to potential manufacturers. This is a high-end homeware product so small details are important. We are open to any small design elements within the specified parameters that keep the product clean and minimal.

The Jellyfish Challenge
We would like to create a boardroom pop-up, it will look like a Jelly Fish. It will have a 4x2" Multi Media Wallplate at the stem(Oral Arms) and the Bell will be hollowed out to hold all our cables, and on the outside of the bell, we want to install plug sockets.
Hydroplane Challenge
I have made a prototype of the attached drawings but the gears didn't have enough torque and the wheels slipped on wet floors. I made the following changes to the prototype I built: 1. I duplicated the front Wheels (Part #23) to replace the back wheels (Part #3) 2. I duplicated the Roller GearWheel V2 (Part#9) to make the back wheels work the same as the front wheels 3. I duplicated the Reducing Gear (Part #24) to connect the new back wheels to the gear mechanisms The gear torque works great now but the 4 wheels still don't have enough surface contact to stop slipping on the wet floor. I believe all 4 wheels need to be wider to have more surface contact to stop them from slipping (hydroplaning). Challenge: I need the wheels to (#23) to be as wide as possible and change as LITTLE as possible to the rest of the parts and avoid extra costs. I am pretty sure I will need to re-print the Reducing Gear (#24) to make the wider wheels work with them. If I have to adjust the holes on the Plate (#7), I would like to do it with a drill instead of reprinting them. I am hoping there will not be any changes needed to Roller GearWheel V2 (#9)
